Who is your Lasting Power of Attorney? 🤔
This Wills month, we are sharing information about language used throughout the Wills and Probate process, starting with, Lasting Power of Attorney.
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a document that provides authority for someone to make decisions for you, or act on your behalf, should you become unable to make those decisions yourself.
LPA provide future security in the event that you are diagnosed with a long term illness, such as dementia or any event where you may lose mental capacity.
The document allows a person (people) to be nominated to make decisions about financial affairs and/or health and care decisions.
